MEET YOUR BIRTH hype WOMAN. I’M SKYE - educator AND HOSPITAL birth DOULA.
I'm a birth doula, registered nurse, childbirth educator, and mother with over eight years of experience in the birth world. I've been present for hundreds of births, from speedy spontaneous labors to lengthy hospital inductions. My path began in clinical care, but what I witnessed over and over again was a gap: families walking into one of the biggest moments of their lives without enough clarity, continuity, or true advocacy.
As a doula, I bridge that gap. I bring both the clinical awareness of a nurse and the grounded presence of someone who's walked this path with compassion, humor, and heart. I've been the one holding space in the early morning hours, helping parents breathe through transition, advocate with confidence, and settle into those first quiet hours with their baby.
Birth isn't a medical event; it's the most transformative event of your life. And I'm here to help you feel rooted in yourself, connected to your choices, and ready to meet whatever comes. And can we talk about how exhausting it is to wade through all the birth advice out there? Everyone's got an opinion about what you should do, how you should feel, what makes you a 'good' mom.
