I'm Skye 👋 birth doula, registered nurse, childbirth educator, and mom who has spent nearly a decade immersed in the world of birth. I've supported countless families through everything from fast, uncomplicated labors to long inductions, unexpected detours, and moments that required calm, clear decision-making.
What I witnessed over and over again wasn't a lack of strong women, it was a lack of preparation. Families were walking into one of the biggest days of their lives without truly understanding what was happening, what their options were, or how to confidently navigate the hospital system when it mattered most.
That's why I do what I do.
Whether we're working together in person, virtually, or through one of my courses, my goal is the same: to help you understand the system you're giving birth in, trust yourself, and make decisions that feel aligned with your values… not fear, pressure, or confusion.
Between social media, Google, well-meaning friends, and endless conflicting advice, it's no wonder so many moms feel overwhelmed before labor even begins. Forget the noise.
You don't need another stranger on the internet telling you what the "right" birth looks like. You need someone (aka me) who can help you understand your options, filter out the fear, and build the confidence to make the decisions that are right for you.

Want to breastfeed? Great. Need help researching formula options? I got you. Realizing you need to co-sleep after all? I'll guide you on how to do it safely. Planning an epidural from day one? Let's talk about timing and what to expect. Changed your mind about circumcision at the last minute? We'll work through the decision together. I've got your back, always. All I care about is that you feel educated enough to make the right decision for you and your family.
I don't follow a script. I meet you where you are: your goals, your learning style, your preferences, your fears. Every family I work with receives individualized care rooted in real conversation, practical guidance, and deep respect.

What sets me apart? I've seen birth from both sides of the bed rail.
With my nursing insight, I know how hospitals work. As a doula and educator, I chose to focus on how women experience birth. That means you'll get honest education, practical preparation, and support that's rooted in both clinical experience and genuine compassion. My #1 goal if for you to walk into birth feeling informed instead of intimidated, no matter how your story unfolds.
